Project Overview
The project, built by Allied Construction Services, was developed by Elon Development and Valley Forge Properties. Additionally, the project was designed by Barton Partners of Plymouth Meeting, PA. Bryn Mawr Trust, ESSA Bank and Trust, and Penn Community Bank provided financing for the project.
The 280,000 square-foot, five-story structure contains 261 apartment units. It also consists of 311 indoor parking spaces and 103 outdoor parking spaces, which residents can reserve. The design of the structure connects the building with outdoor spaces, including a club room that opens onto a spa/pool complex. The serpentine-shaped structure allows these common spaces to nestle within the curvature of the building, creating privacy from external sound and visibility. The building also includes a fitness room, storage units for tenants, and a dog walk and pet spa.
The Residences at Bentwood is located on the Bentwood Executive Campus, which features a Hyatt House Hotel, 100,000 square feet of Class A office space, and an esteemed KinderCare Daycare Center. The complex is conveniently located just 45 minutes from Center City, Philadelphia. A surplus of local retail shops and entertainment facilities are nearby including Northtowne Plaza, Norriton Square Shopping Center, and the King of Prussia Mall, as well as the Plymouth Meeting Community Center, Plymouth Country Club, and Einstein Montgomery Medical Center.
